The consortium for development of Shah Deniz plans to consider using the South East Europe Pipeline (SEEP). The decision will be made by March, BP marketing manager for Shah Deniz, Steve Garlik, said, Trend reports.
BO, operator of Shah Deniz in Azerbaijan, proposed the SEEP project which may become the basis for the Southern Gas Corridor.
The SEEP will transport 10 billion cubic meters through the gas pipeline to Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia. The Souther Gas Corridor consists of Nabucco, ITGI, Trans-Adriatic Gas Pipeline.
The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), Nabucco and ITGI presented final proposals to Azerbaijan on October 1. The decision will be made in Q1 2012. Azerbaijan plans to export 10 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz-2 after 2017.
