Trade turnover between Georgia and the EU totaled $2.477 billion in 2011, exceeding figures of 2010 by 41%. Export increased by 46% to $424 million, import – by 40% to $2.053 billion, Georgia Online reports.
The EU had a share of 27% in Georgian foreign trade in 2011 (26% in 2010), including 19% of exports (18%) and 29% of imports (28%).
