Inflation falls in Georgia

A fall in inflation from 5.6% to 4% has been registered in Georgia. Inflation in May compared to April was less than one per cent, Business Georgia reports.

The general level of inflation compared to last December was a little over 2%.

During the same period the biggest rise in prices was registered in the fields of education (46%) and transport (13%).

Nevertheless, prices for household appliances and clothes have fallen, the National Statistics Service reports.
