A blast happened at the Kasinmagomed-Gazakh gas pipeline in Azerbaijan today, ANSPRESS reports.
The blast happened at the 118th km of the pipeline at the Garayazy Village of the Geychaysky District at about 11.30 am. A fire started.
Fire fighters and specialists from the Agdashsky section of Magistralniye Gazoprovody arrived. A 100-meter high flame can be seen at a distance of 10 km.
Azerigaz said that the blast happened at the pipeline supplying the local population. Gas exports to Georgia were not affected.
