Jean-Pierre Toma, the special representative of the French president for relations with Russia, has become a board member of the Northern Caucasus Resorts, Yuga.ru reports.
France is one of Russia’s main partners in establishing the tourism cluster in the North Caucasus Federal District, Krasnodar Territory and Adygeya.
Russia and France are forming a joint venture for tourism development called International Caucasus Development, formed by the Northern Caucasus Resorts and Caisse des Depots et Consignations (a state holding). France plans to invest €1 billion, experts say that France will eventually invest about €15 billion.
