Armenia, Egypt to establish direct air link

Armenian and Egyptian Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Mohamed Amr have discussed economic cooperation and the establishment of a direct air link, News Armenia reports.

The ministers met at the 48th International Security Conference in Munich. They noted long-lasting friendly ties between the two states and discussed stimulation of economy, culture exchanges, expansion of agreements, cooperation within the framework of international organizations.

Nalbandian emphasized that Armenia wants close and strong ties with Egypt and the Arab world.

Amr informed his Armenian counterpart about the developments in Egypt and measures to enforce security.

Nalbandian noted that the transmission period is an episode of the multi-millennia history of Egypt, expressing confidence that its people will overcome all challenges such as it happened throughout its history.
