Ahmed Bilalov, Senator and CEO of Northern Caucasus Resorts believes that the resorts stretching from Sochi to Makhachkala should become a single complex with common logistics, marketing, price formation and services, RIA Dagestan reports.
The resorts of Lagonaki and Arkhyz can be seen from the peak of Krasnaya Polyana in Sochi, they need to be connected with cable ways, the official says.
Such measures would bring 5-10 million tourists annually. Russia is discussing formation of a single economic zone at Krasnaya Polyana and its Olympic facilities.
