The Chinese state company for the international oil union rented the Takamin Tanker with a capacity of 265,000 tons of oil to transport petroleum from Hark, State TV and Radio of Iran reports.
The tanker belongs to Japan. China refuses to join the US embargo on Iranian oil exports.
Iran covers 12% of daily demand for oil in China.
