Turkish company ROKETSAN has sent the first shipment to the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. It is the first major order commissioned to ROKESTAN by Azerbaijan, APA reports. The company will supply rockets of various calibers. There has been no information released on the cost and date of completion of the contract.
The Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan plans to co-produce with ROKETSAN missiles of 107 and 122 meters caliber. The rocket engine will be manufactured in Turkey, while the shell will be produced in Azerbaijan.
