Moody’s has announced the short-term credit ratings of 114 European banks, ITAR-TASS reports.
10 Italian, Spanish, British, German, Austrian, Portuguese and Scandinavian banks are at risk. This includes French banks BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole and Societe Generale.
Moody’s reduced the ratings of six EU states. Spain’s rating dropped from A1 to A3, Italy’s from A2 to A3, Portugal’s from BA2 to BA3, Slovakia’s from A1 to A2, Slovenia’s from A1 to A2 and Malta’s from A2 to A3. France, the UK and Austria keep their AAA rating.
