Iran to build power plant and oil refinery in Syria

Abbas Ali Abadi, Director General of the MAPNA engineering company, announced the signing of a contract on construction of a power plant and refinery in Syria, Iran News reports.

The power plant will have an output of 484 MW. It will cost €400 million. The new energy facility will be built in Es-Suwaid. Abadi noted that it will take 28 months to construct the power plant. It will be the third power plant in Syria built by MAPNA.
