Turkey imports gas from Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Nigeria and Algeria. It plans to find two more gas exporters, Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said, Sabah reports.
Yildiz explained that Turkey wants to reduce prices for gas imports. It imported 39.7 billion cubic meters of gas in 2011. Russia is the main exporter of gas for Turkey, followed by Iran and Azerbaijan.
