Exports of Iran's "Aras" free economic zone grow 51%

The Deputy Director of the Free Economic Zone "Aras" on questions of the
economy and investment, Iraj Khatami, said that the export of the FEZ
during the 11 months to 2012 increased by 51% as compared to the same
period last year and amounted to $103 million, Iran News reports,
citing IRNA.

According to Hatami, exports from the FEZ "Aras" were mainly sent to
Georgia, Armenia, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

Iraj Khatami said that the FEZ exports such products such as
polyethylene, plastic ware, heating and industrial fuel oil, dried
fruit, chemical products, glass and glass products, metal products,
etc.
