A fire has started on the Inzhener Nazarov tanker in the Caspian Sea. Six people were evacuated, while some remain on board, Interfax reports.
One man died at the fire-struck tanker at the Makhachkala Trade Port. Fire was reported at 1.10 pm. The tanker was on its way to Makhachkala, RIA Novosti reports.
The tanker was built in 1968, according to project 1577. It is owned by Volgotanker, headquartered in Astrakhan.
