Kazakhstan ratifies Customs code of Customs union

The parliament of Kazakhstan has ratified the Customs code of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia on Thursday.
"The aim of the development of the Customs Code is to create a legal basis for customs regulation on the territory of the Customs Union, and also to create substantially and formally modernized direct-acting regulations of the Customs Code", Kazakh Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev told deputies of the senate (upper chamber) on Thursday, RIA Novosti reports.
