According to the Iranian Minister of Oil, Rostam Kasemi, after a number of EU
countries have introduced sanctions against Iran, the delivery of
Iranian crude oil to England and France was stopped, Iran News
reports.
The Ministry of Oil issued an ultimatum to other European countries that
buy oil from Iran, including Italy, Portugal, Holland, Germany,
Greece, Spain, Belgium and the Czech Republic, and demanded that the
refineries in these countries sign contracts for the supply of Iranian
oil under new conditions.
The Director General of the National Iranian Oil Company, Ahmed Kalebani, recently stated
in this regard that the basic condition for the
supply of Iranian oil to European countries is the signing of long-term
contracts for a period of two to five years.
According to semi-official data obtained from the Ministry of Oil,
the Ministry will soon decide whether to terminate the oil supplies to the
Czech Republic, Belgium and Holland.
