Iran starts construction of third power plant in Syria

Iran is to build a power plant with an output of 470 MW in the As-Suwayda Province of Syria. A deal was signed in Tehran on Sunday, Iran News reports.

It is the third facility built with support of the Iranian Company for Management and Design of Power Plants.

Abbas Aliabadi, Executive Director of the company, said that Iran built the Tashrin power plant. The Zhandar power plant will be launched in the near future.
