Kazakhstan minimizes state interference in economy

The Kazakh parliament has passed a project on amendments to legislature on state monopoly in the first reading at a plenary session, KAZINFORM reports.

The project is to reduce state interference in economy and set state monopoly as an extraordinary measures to enforce national security, defenses, protection of public order, health, Kazakh Minister for Economic Development and Trade Bakytzhan Sagintayev said.

MPs have introduced numerous adjustments to the bill. This includes the Ecological Code, the law on communication.
