Tourism facilities built in Arkhyz

The first tourist facilities of the North Caucasus tourism project sponsored by the Russian authorities have been built in Arkhyz. They are an aerial cableway and two alpine skiing tracks.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, Alexander Khloponin, the head of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic, Rashid Temrezov, and the chief executive officer of the North Caucasian Resorts public corporation, Alexey Nevsky.
