Aqrolizinq, a state leasing company, plans to purchase 3,000 cattle from Germany and Austria using the president's reserve fund, abc.az reports.
The Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry said that the tender ended on March 13. The purchase will be worth 10 million manats. 0.6 million manats of the sum will be for the Nakhchivan Autonomy, 9.4 million manats for other regions.
Aqrolizinq purchased 3270 cattle for 11 million manats from Germany and Austria in 2009-2011. 170 cattle worth 300,000 manats were sent to Nakhchivan Autonomy. A total of 5,000 cattle was purchased in 2009-2011, the figure should reach 6,000 by the end of May.
