Russian state mail service fined for delayed deliveries

The Directorate of the Federal Anti-monopoly Service in Karachay-Cherkessia has punished Pochta Rossii (the federal state unitary enterprise for mail delivery) for violating the law on competition with a fine of 2.283 million rubles, Yuga.ru reports.


The office of Pochta Rossii in Karachay-Cherkessia made delayed deliveries of mail, resulting in delayed reception of information.


The FAS office in the region added that it receives complaints from citizens about late deliveries or loss of letters and packages.
