The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan has informed that the volume of grain harvest in Kazakhstan in 2012 was going to reach about 15 million tons. This information was reported by the director of the Department of Agriculture and Phytosanitary Security of Agriculture Anna Buts, News of Kazakhstan reports.
She noted that issues of financial and logistical support of agricultural producers have been solved.
According to the Grain Union of Kazakhstan, the republic in the 2011-2012 marketing year will export the amount of 13 million tons of grain.
Kazakhstan is among the largest exporters of grain in the world.
