Dagestani builders steal 23 million rubles from budget

The administration of a contracting firm has stolen 23 million rubles from
the budget by overestimating the amount of work performed during the
construction of sewage treatment plants in Dagestan, RIA-Novosti
reports, referring to a statement by head of the Prosecutor-General's
Office in the North Caucasus Federal District, Artem Melnikov.

A criminal case against the executives of the commercial organization has
been initiated. They are facing long prison terms.
