Chechnya wants to cooperate in oil extraction with Azerbaijan, Chechen Prime Minister and Minister for Economy Eli Isayev said in Baku on Wednesday, Trend reports.
Rosneft received license for oil extraction in 2002 for 20 years. Chechnya has areas in need of geological studies.
Isayev said that Chechnya has investment project for transport, energy, construction and agriculture to offer Azerbaijan. The Chechen market has great potential. Chechnya is ahead of many subjects, in terms of economic development.
