Cherkessk to launch 'green' wool production

Environmentally safe production of wool will be launched in the Russian North Caucasian city of Cherkessk, Russian state-owned newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

"We developed our own environmentally safe technology of wool production," Marat Khalkechyev, the head of the company that operates the project, says.

Weaving and spinning are traditional crafts of the Cherkessk people.
