The Organization Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of 2020 in Baku (Baku 2020) has announced cooperation with Helios Partners (USA), specialized in international sports marketing, ABC.az reports.
Helios will help Baku 2020 prepare a presentation and development strategy. The first presentation will be made at the General Assembly of National Olympic Committees in Moscow next week.
Azerbaijani Minister for Youth and Sports Azad Ragimov expressed hopes for fruitful cooperation with the head of the company, Terrence Burns. The slogan of Baku 2020 is “We can together”.
T. Burns emphasized interest in the project. He said that hosting the Olympic Games will give Baku and the whole region an opportunity for development of sports and culture.
Peter Mann, head of Pmplegacy, who prepared the symbols for Baku 2020, said that Baku has good infrastructure and a good concept for the Olympic Games. He expressed confidence that cooperation with Burns will help Baku 2020 reach a new level.
