Georgian Minister for Economy and Sustainable Development Vera Kobalia sees big prospects of Wendy’s on the Georgian market, Business Georgia reports.
The minister attended the ceremony of signing a memorandum between Vissol Group and Wendy’s at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel. The two companies plan to open 25 restaurants with hundreds of workplaces.
McDonalds has about 60-100 employees. The same concerns Wendy’s, the second largest restaurant network.
Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri and US Ambassador to Georgia John Bass were at the ceremony.
Wendy’s has 6,500 restaurants in 27 states of America and Europe.
