Bandar-Abbas Airport development to cost Iran $14 million

 

The Iranian Cabinet launched four projects for development of the Bandar-Abbas Airport on the third visit to the Hormozgan Province of Iran, Mehr reports.

About $14 million will be issued by the province and the Iranian Organization of Airports for the project. The sum will be spent on construction of a new building for meteorological services, passenger departure lounge, special terminal for guests and a two-floor terminal for passengers.

The Bandar-Abbas International Airport is the seventh largest airport in Iran. It has 32 international and 17 domestic flights daily.
