Azerbaijan has started preliminary activities for the second stage of development of the Shah Deniz Field, BP-Azerbaijan said on Tuesday.
The decision was announced by BP Chief Executive Robert Dudley at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The second stage of Shah Deniz development is worth $25 billion.
