Azerbaijan will build an alternate road to Russia by the end of Thursday. The Baku-Guba Highway was closed due to a bridge collapse at the 156th km, press secretary of Azeroilservice Pyunkhan Mursaliyev said, Trend reports.
The road will run to the left of the bridge. Drivers may use the road through Gyandob-Khachmaz to Guba. Cars going to Baku may use the road from Shabran, running through the villages of Pirvahid and Nugedi. The bridge will be knocked down and replaced with a new one in a few months.
