Georgian Airways has started flights to Moscow’s Vnukovo Airports, ITAR-TASS reports.
Tbilisi-Vnukovo-Tbilisi flights will be carried out using Boeing 737-500s. S7 Airlines will organize flights from Moscow to Tbilisi.
Vnukovo is one of the largest airports in Russia. Its main shareholder is Aeroflot with 75% of shares.
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said in spring 2011 that Moscow Airports Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo will form a single complex.
