Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has attended the ceremony of opening a new runway at the Heydar Aliyev Airport in Baku. He observed the air complex and the construction process, Trend reports.
The president studied the stands with the general reconstruction plan.
Jagangir Askerov, President of Azerbaijan Khava Yollary, informed Aliyev about the runway details. It is 4,000 meters long, 75 meters wide and covers 325,500 square meters. The Azerbaijani president cut the red line, opening the new runway.
