Iran exports cement and tea to Russia

The head of industries, mining and trade of Gilan Province, Hossein Asgariyan, presented the results of the visit of the Gilan trade delegation to Astrakhan and Dagestan at a meeting with reporters in Rasht and said that Iran had signed a contract to supply 160 thousand tons of cement, Iran News reports.

According to Asgariyan, the cost of one ton of cement on the Iranian market is $55-60, while it reaches $185 on the Dagestani market.

Asgariyan noted that the cost of Iranian medicines exported to Russia is 30-40% less than the cost of the brands in Russia. The cost of textile products and garments in Russia is at least six times more than the cost of Iranian products. Asgariyan described the difference in prices on the Iranian and Russian markets as "outrageous".

Asgariyan also reported that the Russian side had requested to export 10 thousand tons of Iranian tea.
