Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov has held bilateral talks with Kyrgyz and Tajik defense ministers in Beijing today, RIA Novosti cites Lieutenant-Colonel Irina Kovalchuk, press secretary of the Russian Defense Ministry, as saying.
She noted that Kyrgyz Defense Minister General-Major Taalaybek Omuraliyev signed a protocol on compensations of lease for using bases in Kyrgyzstan. The document means that all debts have been paid off.
Tajik Defense Minister General-Colonel Sherali Khayrulloyev signed an intergovernmental agreement on training under-aged Tajik citizens at Russian military education centers.
Serdyukov arrived in Beijing for a council of Defense Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on Tuesday.
