Odessa-Brody Pipeline still needs Azerbaijani guarantees

Extension of the Odessa-Brody Pipeline of Ukraine to Poland’s Plock to transport Caspian oil to Europe needs guarantees, CEO of Pern Przyjazn Marcin Moskalevic said, RIA Novosti reports.

Odessa-Brody was built 10 years ago and was used for minor oil pumping from Russia. The pipeline used Azeri Light oil in 2011 for the Mozyrsky refinery in Belarus. Oil transport stopped in 2012. The second branch of Odessa-Brody to Plock will allow the pipeline to be used again. The project will need 10 million tons annually.
