The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) has launched borehole N1175 at the Palchyg Pilpilyasi Field, 1news.az reports.
The borehole gives 5 tons of oil daily.
The Palchyg Polpilyasi Field is near the Neft Dashlary Field. Neft Dashlary has been developed since 1949. The two fields have given 173 million tons of oil and hold 30 million tons more.
