In Georgia, the construction of the railway station Parto Tskali for handling of oil cargoes was completed.
As 1news.az reports with reference to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan(SOCAR), on May 1 the station received the first batch of 30 cars with diesel fuel. The station that meets all modern requirements is connected to the railway system of Georgia of four directions. The construction of this station reduces the path of delivery of petroleum products at oil terminal in Kulevi (owned by SOCAR) and the discharge of petroleum products for 4 hours. This terminal will increase the capacity by 30% and allow to save to $ 50 thousand a year.
