The US government should care about the problems of its citizens instead of wasting time on sanctions against Iran, spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast said in Tehran on Tuesday, Trend reports.
He reminded that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was trying to convince China and India to reduce imports of Iranian oil during her visit to Asian states.
Mehmanparast reminded about the fate of French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Francois Hollande won the presidential polls in France with 52% of the vote. Sarkozy got 48%.
The US will hold presidential polls in November 2012.
