Largest Greek air company Aegean Airlines enters Georgian market

The largest Greek airline Aegean Airlines from June 11 launches flights from Georgia to Europe. This was announced at the presentation of the company in Tbilisi on Tuesday, Trend reports.

It was attended by the mayor of the capital of Georgia, Gigi Ugulava, and an ambassador of Greece to Georgia, Eleftherios Proios. Aegean Airlines from June 11 will launch twice-weekly flights to Europe.

Ugulava said Tbilisi, with difficulty, but is steadily moving towards establishment of direct routes with the leading capitals of Europe. "We are doing everything possible to ensure a high international reputation of Tbilisi and to provide an influx of new tourists," he said.
