Russia plans to put in industrial commission the Iran's Busher nuclear power station at the end of the year, the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Atomenergproekt, Valery Limorenko, told RIA Novosti. “We intend to do it at the end of the year,” he said.
Limorenko noted that there are many details which don’t depend on Russian specialists. “The main works connected with testing of the equipment we plan to finish this year; the issues connected with document signing will probably be decided next year,” he said.
Previously it was stated that on May 23 the full capacity of the Iranian nuclear power station would be launched.
Construction of the atomic power station in Bushehr was begun in 1974 by the German concern Kraftwerk Union A.G. Russia and Iran signed the treaty on construction of the APS in August 25, 1992. In 2001 the installation of technical equipment began.
