Ingushetia to spend 600 million rubles on road reconstruction

The authorities of Ingushetia plan to spend 600 million rubles on reconstruction of roads by the end of the year – five times more than last year, RIA Novosti reports, citing a representative of the republic's government.

“It was decided to allocate 600 million rubles for roadbed reconstruction. This is much more than in 2011, when 124.3 million rubles were allocated for support of the road sector,” the agency was told.

Earlier, a representative of the administration of the republic’s head stated that soon part of the Rostov-Baku federal highway will become four lane and service stations and convenience retailing will appear.

The length of the M-29 highway is about 1118 km, 31 km of which pass through Ingushetia.
