Passengers of air companies will have an opportunity to book flights and luggage at hotels, rather than doing it at the airport, RIA Novosti reports.
Basel Aero opened a terminal at a hotel in Gelendzhik in 2010. The system was also tested during competitions at Krasnaya Polyana. The Park Inn and Tulin Inn Hotels booked flights for 300 passengers in early February 2012. This allowed passengers to arrive without luggage and pass procedures a lot faster. Grand Hotel & Spa Rodina launched the service on May 15.
The procedure takes just a few minutes. It includes transport of luggage from the hotel room to the car. Booking is held at the reception office. The passenger goes to the airport without luggage.
The new service was called Super-VIP. Basel Aero plans to launch it at other hotels in Sochi, Krasnodar, Anapa and Gelendzhik. It would reduce traffic at terminals and give more comfort to passengers.
