Iran satisfied with negotiations with IAEA

Iranian representative to the IAEA Ali Asgar Soltaniye called the first day of negotiations positive and constructive, Trend reports.

Iran and the IAEA held the first round of talks in Vienne on Monday. Soltaniye represented Iran, Herman Hakkarts, Deputy Director General of the IAEA, represented the agency.

Iran plans to meet with six mediators in Baghdad on May 23 to discuss the nuclear program.

Western states accuse Iran of developing nuclear weapons. Iran denies all accusations and insists that the program is aimed at fulfilling demands for electricity.
