The price for gold coins dropped $20 in one day on Iran's market, a reflection of precious metals' continuing decline worldwide, Trend reports.
An old design gold coin cost $522 today, compared to $542 yesterday, while a new design coin was valued at $509 versus $534 yesterday. Gold coins are minted and sold by Iran's central bank.
The price for one gram of 18 karat gold was pegged at $50 today, down from $54 yesterday.
