Georgia tightens control over civil aviation

The Georgian state is tightening control over civil aviation. Corresponding changes are being made to the Air Code of Georgia, Business Georgia reports.

The bill introduces new rules for the inspection of civil aviation operations and re-defines the powers of inspectors.

The bill provides new norms for working hours and flight duration, as well as standards of work and hours. In addition, all support companies of aircraft will be subject to certification.
