Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov has discussed industry and its development with his assistant Khasi Khizriyev, the website of the Chechen government reports.
Kadyrov expressed interest in construction of the second line of the Chiri-Yurtovsky cement factory. Khizriyev said that high-quality cement production will double with the launch of the second line by the end of the year. Another cement factory is planned to be built producing 3 million tons annually.
Raw materials for cement production should be enough for another 200 years. Rika Group (Slovenia) is one of the best companies in Europe, Khizriyev goes on. It is supporting construction of the factory.
Kadyrov noted that he had ordered Chechen Prime Minister Abubakar Edelgeriyev to have the Cabinet fulfil all the obligations set out in the contract with the Slovenian partners.
The presidential assistant informed the Chechen leader that samples of bricks have been sent to Italy and Slovenia. Italy has responded that their raw materials are satisfactory for brick production in Chechnya.
