Air Astana has marked the 10th anniversary of its first flight between Alma Ata and Astana using a Boeing 737 on May 15, 2012. Air Astana has increased the number of its planes to 26 with arrival of the fourth Embraer 190 in May 2012, Business Georgia reports.
Air Astana signed a contract on purchase of 4 Boeing 767-300ERs and 3 Boeing 787 Dreamliners and others. The company plans to have 43 planes in 2020.
The air company plans to open the Astana-Tbilisi air service with flights twice a week using Embraer 190.
