Georgian and Iranian Trade and Industry Chambers discuss cooperation

Tbilisi has hosted a session for economic cooperation of Georgia and Iran chaired by head of the Georgian Trade and Industry Chamber Kakha Baindurashvili and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Nakhavandian, Business Georgia reports.

About 130 business officials attended the talks. Baindurashvili noted the increase of Iranian tourists and offers of technical services.

Nakhavandian praised the state of relations with Georgia. He noted the lift of the visa regime, economic reforms in Georgia, reduction of administrative corruption and simplification of custom rules.

The Iranian official expressed readiness to export technical services to Georgia and increase investments in transport, food industry, agriculture, animal husbandry, banking and insurance.
