Gross GDP in Armenia equaled 8.8% during the period from January to May 2010, compared with the previous year, Novosti Armenia reports, referring to the Armenian National Statistics Bureau.
According to their data, consumer prices rose by 7.6%, production also increased by 12.1%. Armenian foreign trade turnover reached 1,776 billion drams ($686.6 million) - a 34.5% gross increase in comparison with the previous year's level.
