Britain and the Scandinavian countries have expressed interest
in the Nord Stream gas pipeline project, Russian President Vladimir
Putin said on Friday during talks with Germany's Chancellor Angela
Merkel, RIA-Novosti reports.
"You know, the gas from this transit corridor will not just be
delivered to Germany, but also other states, and now Britain and the
Scandinavian countries have been talking to us," RIA-Novosti quotes
Putin.
Nord Stream will provide deliveries of Russian gas from the Baltic.
